Curtis Stoldt

Curtis W. Stoldt, age 72, of Bellevue, passed away Friday, June 12, 2020.
He was born December 24, 1947 in Fremont, Ohio to the late William and Faye (Albright) Stoldt. He was a graduate of Norwalk High School and the Ohio State University, and attended the United States Coast Guard Academy. He was a member of the Norwalk First United Methodist Church.

Curt returned to Norwalk after graduation and was a teacher at Western Reserve Middle School for over 25 yrs. He also worked as an Ohio Turnpike Toll Collector for many years. Following retirement from those careers, he worked for Walmart, and for North Central EMS as a wheelchair van driver. In his spare time, he enjoyed model railroading and singing in the church choir - especially when they were invited to sing at Carnegie Hall. Above all, he enjoyed time and traveling with family.

Curt is survived by his wife of 49 years, Terry (Crone) Stoldt; children, Whitney H. Stoldt of New Hampshire, and Cameron Stoldt of Bellevue; brothers, David Stoldt of Norwalk and Bradley Stoldt of Minnesota, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Barbara Kemming.

A private family graveside service will be held Thursday at Woodlawn Cemetery in Norwalk. Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home.
