Diane Day

Diane Day, age 89, of Norwalk, passed away Monday, April 22, 2024, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
She was born September 27, 1934, in Marietta, OH to the late Perl and Virginia Hart. She was a 1956 graduate of Marietta College, and married her college sweetheart, Steve. She volunteered for many years with the American Heart Association, was an avid reader, enjoyed golfing, playing cards and all the Ohio State and Pittsburgh sports teams. She and her husband traveled the world, and especially enjoyed her hot air balloon trip over the plains of Africa for their 40th Anniversary. Her joy in life was her family, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Stephen Day III, Jeffrey (Joyce) Day, and Michael (Jennifer) Day; grandchildren, Jeffrey Day, Ashley Ebinger, and Lauren Fry; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Day Jr. in 2002; her daughter, Allison Day and her infant child in 1989; and grandson, Michael S. Day Jr. in 2019.
Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
