Lois Ann Evans

Lois Ann (Smith) Evans, age 83, of Sandusky, went to be with her Lord Jesus Tuesday morning, June 4, 2019 at The Willows at Bellevue.

She was born June 22, 1935 in Grayson, KY to the late William J. and Lenora (Lucas) Smith. She retired after many years at Fanny Farmers in Norwalk. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church and was instrumental in the building program. She loved to worship her Lord and Savior.

She is survived by her children, Vicky (Terry) Lyons of FL, Tammy Penfield of Sandusky, Terry (the late Carol) Evans of Attica, Timothy (Julie) Evans of Castalia and Thomas “Randy” (Angie) Evans of Attica; 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; siblings, Donald (Lucille) Smith of Norwalk, Mary (the late Clarence) Wiseman of Norwalk, Brenda (the late Samuel) Berkey of Mt. Vernon, Harrison (Elizabeth) Smith of Sandusky and Michael (Shirley) Smith of Sandusky; sister-in-law, Pam Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell R. Evans on December 21, 1997; son, Wendell Evans Jr; and brother, William “Jack” Smith.

Friends may call on Friday, June 7, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at 1:00 P.M. at Victory Baptist Church, 132 Gallup Avenue, Norwalk with Rev. Larry Lambes officiating. Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park in Huron.
