Brooklyn Joann Dewiel, 24, of Collins, Ohio, was born February 13, 2002, in Norwalk, Ohio. She passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 4, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and a love that will forever remain in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
Brooklyn was a beautiful soul in every sense of the word. She had a way of lighting up every room she walked into with her presence and her beautiful smile. She was pure, gentle, genuine, and loving, always carrying a warmth that made the people around her feel special. Brooklyn loved deeply and cared endlessly, and those who knew her will forever remember the kindness and love she gave so freely.
One of Brooklyn’s greatest joys was becoming a mother to her son, Theo, her first and only child. Becoming his mother was a beautiful and unforgettable chapter of her life. Theo will forever carry his mother’s love with him.
Brooklyn had an incredible love for animals, especially her three beloved dogs and her cat, Anastasia , Roo ,Gypsy & Elvis were so much more than pets to her—they were family. Her gentle heart and compassion could be seen in the way she loved and cared for them.
Brooklyn is preceded in death by her father, Justin Morgan her grandmother, Tammy Dewiel, Grandpa Kenn Morgan, cousin Donavan Lykins and one of her best friends, Jordan Fitzgerald. She is now reunited with those she loved and lost, while leaving behind countless people who wish they could have had more time with her.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving mother, Kimberly Dewiel up; stepfather, Willie Reagan; great-aunt Kay and Uncle Fred, her precious son, Theo; Siblings Jacob and Harper Morgan and Caleb and Brody Janka, Grandmother Sheryl Hackathorn (Papa Don) and her step siblings Kiersten (Mack) Reagan & Boomer Reagan, many beloved cousins, aunts & uncles.. along with other family members, friends, and loved ones whose lives were forever touched by her.
Though Brooklyn’s time here was far too short, the love she gave was immeasurable. Her smile, her gentle heart, her laughter, and the way she made people feel loved will never be forgotten.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, September 14, 2026, from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
