Jerry D Perry, age 67, of Norwalk, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
He was born August 3, 1959, in Prestonsburg, KY to the late Samuel and Opal Perry. He served in the US Army’s 82nd Airbourne from 1971 until 1981. He traveled the states and moved to Norwalk in 1988, where he worked as a plumber for many years. He attended Deliverance Tabernacle Church in New London. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and family. He was an avid Cincinnati Bengal’s fan and enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Martha (Stanford) Perry; children, Athena Simon, Jason Makovic and Chaz Perry; and Amanda Wright, Andrew Grose, and Jody Cammarn; sisters, Sue Daniels and Donna Hamilton; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and seven brothers and sisters.
A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
