Paitsel "PD" Meadows

Paitsel “PD” Darrell Meadows, age 74, of Norwalk, passed away peacefully Friday evening, August 21, 2026, at Carecore at Gaymont.
He was born November 6, 1951, in Logan, West Virginia to the late Paitsel and Laura Bell Meadows Spence.
He was President of the Champion Directories (The Firelands Phone Book) from 1984 until his retirement in 2005. He attended The Chapel in Norwalk and enjoyed being a minister, playing golf, traveling and family get togethers.
He was a good husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Lois (Kirk) Meadows; daughter, Kimberly (Jason) Ott of Norwalk; son, Jason P. Meadows of Norwalk; grandchildren, Paiten, Lily, Carson, Kathryn, Lauren, Audryn and Gracelyn; and great-grandchild, Monroe; sister, Annette (Dennis) Knight; and his brother, Charles (Kathleen) Spence; nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, Charles Spence; brothers, Hank Meadows and Robert “Bobby” Meadows; and sister, Constance “Connie” Roberts.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A funeral service will be held Friday, August 28, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home with Brother Ravin Fields Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Berlin Heights.
