Richard E. Lineback

Richard Eugene Lineback, 84, of Rossford, Ohio, was born on March 22, 1942, in Toledo, Ohio, to C. Eugene and Mary Alice Lineback.
Richard graduated from DeVilbiss High School and proudly served his country in the United States Army, spending part of his military service stationed in Germany. He carried a deep sense of patriotism throughout his life and was proud of his country.
Following his military service, Richard enjoyed a long and dedicated career, retiring after 36 years with Libbey-Owens-Ford (LOF)/Pilkington then Serving Lucas County Board of DD as maintenance & bus driver for 15 years.
A 45 year member of the Rossford Eagles, Richard served as a trustee and was instrumental in establishing the club's popular Queen of Hearts drawing. He enjoyed the friendships he made through the Eagles and was well known throughout the community.
Richard loved music, laughter, and good company. He especially enjoyed karaoke nights at the Pioneer and the Rossford Eagles, where he shared countless memorable evenings with friends and family.
Richard is survived by his loyal friend, Carol Hanely; his children, Jennie (Eric) Hipp, Renee (Antwann Wiggins) Lineback, Richard Lineback II, and Traci (Raymond) Dang; his grandchildren, Emily (Mac) Love and Maggie (Todd) Mullen; and his treasured greatgranddaughter, Elaina Love. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Phyllis Lineback and niece Bonnie (Tom) Sullivan, along with many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents, brother William Lineback, and nephew Jerry Lineback.
Richard will be remembered for his loyalty to family and friends, his sense of humor, his love of music, and the many friendships he built throughout his life. He leaves behind a legacy of service, hard work, and memories that will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
