Charles F. Conney

Charles F Conney, age 88, of Norwalk, went home Friday evening, June 19, 2026, surrounded by his family.
He was born August 26, 1937, in Norwalk to the late George J. and Helen (Eberly) Conney. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps as well as a retiree of Ford Motor Co. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s school and sporting events, and his dog, Atticus. He was a skilled craftsman, and was an avid woodworker, carver and handyman.
He is survived by his children, Kim Conney, Chuck Conney, Mike (Cindy) Conney, and Dan (Michelle) Conney, all of Norwalk; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Millie (Pat) Pigman; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and loving wife of 61 years, Anna Marie (Boes) Conney in 2023; and brother, Eugene Conney in 2003.
A celebration of life gathering will be held later with interment at St. Paul Catholic Cemetery.
Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
