Sheil R. Kaiser

Sheila R (Slavik) Kaiser, age 79, of Norwalk, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Commons of Providence in Sandusky after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s.
She was born June 15, 1946, in Norwalk to the late Ray and Betty (Paupard) Slavik. She graduated from Norwalk High School in 1964. She was working at Kaiser Wells Pharmacy where she met the love of her life, John Kaiser. They married in August of 1966.
Sheila was a devoted wife and mother that enjoyed hosting all family holidays. She was an amazing cook and loved feeding all her family and friends. She also enjoyed spending time with friends while playing penny poker. She loved animals and often said she would love to have a farm where her animals would die of old age. She also loved to travel with John and many friends. Her favorite destination being Cancun and enjoying margaritas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Betty, her in-laws, John and Beatrice Kaiser, brother Paul Slavik, sisters in-law, Joanne and Suzanne Kaiser, and nephew, Doug Kaiser.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Michael Reer; granddaughter, Taylor Reer; siblings, Dean “Harry” (Janis) Slavik, June (Steve) Rapp, Loren (Darlene) Slavik; her brother-in-law, Albert Kaiser, and numerous nephews and nieces.
Honoring Sheila’s wishes, there will be no visitation and service and she will be cremated. A celebration of Sheila’s life will be held at a later date.
