Barbara E. Knupke

Barbara Ellen (Yontz) Knupke, age 83, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Monday, March 30, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born on January 26, 1943, in Sandusky, Ohio, to the late Robert T. and Ellen (Rickard) Yontz. She enjoyed planting flowers, gardening outdoors, spending time with her family, and sitting on the front porch with her dog, Lily. She was an avid collector of angels, enjoyed attending church, and her Bible studies. She attended The Foundation Church in Norwalk, Ohio.

She is survived by her daughters, Robin Schade, Melanie (David) Langjahr, and Pamela (Richard) Lotz; son, Daniel Knupke; five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; sister, Judy Slocum; a brother-in-law, Richard Good; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Brian S. Knupke in 2008; and her sisters, Patricia Stookey and Mary Lou Good.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio with Pastor Brian Hagerman officiating. Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, Ohio.
