William "Bill" M. Joyce

William “Bill” Mathew Joyce, age 66, of Norwalk, passed away Friday, December 5, 2025, at University Hospital in Cleveland.
He was born September 10, 1959, in Willard to the late Joseph J. Joyce and Iris B. (Elegart) Joyce. He was a 1979 graduate of Willard High School. Bill worked with Barnes Nursery and Firelands Landscaping and then was a propane delivery driver for 20 years. He was also a volunteer fireman for Willard Fire Department for 13 years, and later Townsend Township Fire Department. After retirement he worked as a transit bus driver for North Central SCAT.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, attending to his lawn and riding his golf cart around town. He loved vacationing, cruises and going to Cedar Point.
He is survived by his wife, Christy (Nolf) Joyce of 32 years; daughters, April (Scott) Campbell of Norwalk, Ashley Schoewe of Willard and Brooke Schoewe of Bellevue; grandchildren, Elissa, Alexa, Brylee, Braycen, and Serenity; great-grandchildren, Addy, Malina, Spencer Jr., one baby boy on the way and Jadrian; siblings, Jolynn (Bob) Hampton and Dave (Sue) Joyce; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Barbara in infancy and brother, Jimmy Joyce.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, December 8, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. until time of a celebration of life service at 6:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Private interment will be held at a later date at Woodlawn Cemetery.
