Jane L. Bailey

Jane Lee (Schuster) Bailey, age 82, of Berlin Heights, OH, loving wife, mother and friend passed into Heaven on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Norwalk Memorial Home.
She was born in Elyria, OH on April 5, 1943, to the late John and Leah (Holtzman) Schuster. Jane spent her entire youth in Elyria and graduated in 1961 from Elyria High School. It was at Zion Lutheran Church in Lorain, OH that she was confirmed in her teen years, and where she met the Love of her life, Jerry Bailey. They were married on September 8, 1964, and became the proud parents of Jerry (Dawn Orchard) Bailey Jr., Janice (Bill) Fell and John Zielinski. They also built their home and moved to Berlin Heights in 1974. Jane loved cooking, baking, hosting holidays with her family, and special dinner outings. She also enjoyed Bingo, casino visits, boating, fishing, fish fry’s, traveling and most of all enjoyed being with her grandchildren. Jane worked various jobs as a cashier, and was also employed at Tenna in Milan, where she was part of the team that invented the low tire warning system. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lorain and attended St. Peter Lutheran Church in Norwalk and The Chapel in Norwalk and Sandusky. She was a former member of the Norwalk Eagle Auxiliary #711.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Bailey; children, Jerry (Dawn Orchards) Bailey Jr., Janice (Bill) Fell, and John Zielinski; her grandchildren, Megan (Chris) Titus and Logan Fell; great-grandchildren, Aubree Titus, Colton Titus and baby Titus.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Kaye Marie Schuster, Jo Ann Schuster, Sandra Zielinski, Peggy Basinger and Ronald Schuster; and grandson, Justin Allen Zielinski.
Private burial will be held at Peaks Cemetery in Berlin Heights.
