Richard "Dick" Eastman

Richard “Dick” Wayne Eastman, age 72, of Willard, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his family.
He was born December 9, 1952, in Norwalk to the late Burdette and Vivian (Travis) Eastman. He was a 1972 graduate of South Central High School and attended EHOVE Career Center. He briefly served in the US Navy and worked as a welder in his early years in Texas on oil riggs and train cars and also working in concessions at county fairs serving Buffalo Burgers. He was a truck driver most of his life and enjoyed working for Dauch Concrete’s Seven D Trucking.
He enjoyed spending time with family, working with his hands, woodworking, making homemade plaques with pictures, attending car shows and working on cars and motorcycles.
He is survived by his sisters, Marlene (Steve) Griggs of Wakeman and Susan (Norman) Clouse of Wakeman; brothers, Gary (Sharon) Eastman of Norwalk, John (Karen) Eastman of Willard, and Jeff (Brenda) Eastman of Willard; nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a nephew, Christopher Eastman; and nieces, Michele Clouse, and Carla Crumrine.
A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
