Juana Valentina Guerrero Ochoa
May 25, 2025

Juana Valentina Guerrero Ochoa, age 53, of Willard, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025, in Toledo, Ohio.
She was born May 9, 1972, in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico to the parents of Aurelio Ochoa Nuebo and Valentina Guerrero Hernandez.
From the time Juana was able to walk she was always working very hard from helping her mother cook and clean to helping her dad load different metals items and sand for his small business. After completing high school and receiving her certification in Computer Literacy, she married Natividad in 1995. A few months following the wedding, the pair would decide to migrate to the USA during the agriculture seasons to work and earn money for a better life. It was in 1996 when Juana had her eldest son in Florida. After having their daughter in 2001 Juana and her husband moved to Ohio. They lived in the small town named Washington and would travel to the near by town called Willard to work in Buurmas Farms. Juana formed many close friendships and connections working in Buurmas Farms. She often would recall stories of how all the laughter they shared at work would compensate for the extreme hot weather and laborious tasks they did out in the fields. By January 2010 Juana and Natividad took a mortgage out on a home in Willard to go with their growing family because they were expecting a baby that summer. Juana continued to work in the fields doing agricultural work not only at Buurmas Farms but at Weirs farms and the floral greenhouse, Corsos as well. It wasn’t until 2020, where Juana began transitioning into Factory Jobs. She worked at EPC plastic company from 2020 to 2024. In the final moments of her life Juana worked at Lake Side Book Company. If there’s one thing to note about Juana is that she was strong willed, resilient and resourceful her entire life. She never stopped working, so that her kids and family had a better life. Her kindness however went beyond her family and kids. Juana was consistently offering help around her to those that needed it. People will forever remember Juana for her bubbly, welcoming and charismatic personality along with her caring heart.
She is survived by her husband, Natividad Espinoza; children and other family and friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held 3:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at St. Francis Xavier Church, 25 W. Perry Street, Willard, OH.
A funeral Mass will be held in Celaya, Guanajuato with burial at Panteon Regional Dolores Ejido de Roque, Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico.
Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk, OH.
