Delbert K. Leber

Delbert K Leber, 97, of Norwalk, died Friday, April 11, 2025, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
He was born April 3, 1928, in Monroeville to the late Edgar and Rhea (Weilnau) Leber. He was raised on the family farm and was a self-employed life-long plumber, electrician, and entrepreneur. He owned Leber HVAC services and was a master of many trades and enjoyed woodworking and fixing automobiles. There was nothing he couldn’t fix and was always open to challenges.
He will be remembered most for his strong faith in Jehovah. He was baptized October 2, 1949, as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, was an active member and past Elder with the Norwalk Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Each night he read the Bible and through the years has read the complete Bible many times. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing the piano and guitar, and gardening.
He is survived by his children, Sheila Buckingham, Sharon (John) Ambrose, David (Deborah) Leber, and Lisa (Ronald) Wright; as well as 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Delbert was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Joanne (Maurer) Leber in 2022; siblings, Alden, Glenn, Walter, Milton, Joanne Moyer, Marjorie Ott, and Frederick Sr.
At Delbert’s request, no services will be held. Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
