Kenneth "Duane" Nutter

Kenneth “Duane” Nutter, age 72, of Norwalk, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born January 15, 1953, in Madison, West Virginia and was a 1971 graduate of Norwalk High School. He proudly served his country in the US Marine Corp from 1975-1977, and hiked Mt. Fuji. He retired after 30 years with General Motors. He was an avid Harley Davidson rider, scuba diver and enjoyed cave diving, and was politically engaged. He was a foodie and enjoyed his sweet goods and sweet tooth cravings. He loved his mother and family, made the best brisket ever and let his nieces and nephews run wild.

He is survived by his mother, Joan Nutter; brothers, Scott (Lori) Nutter, Eric (Tricia) Nutter, Todd Nutter, and Jon (Judy) Nutter; special relationships with his nephews, Ryan (Sherri), Kevin (Chrisite), and Matthew; and his nieces, Audrey, Sarah, and Hannah; great-niece, Macie; great-nephews, Max, Miles, and Kyle.

He was preceded in death by his older sister, Debbie; and his Dad, Kenneth Nutter.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. until time-of-service at 1:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Private interment will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be sent to one’s favorite veterans charity.

Duane was a good man that loved his family. I enjoyed spending time with him and getting to know him and his family.He had a sense of humor and loved to watch his cooking shows. Thoughts and Prayers to all the family.
