Alice Leber

Alice Leber, age 84, of Norwalk, passed away Monday, March 24, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born October 19, 1940, in North Fairfield to the late Leon and Elizabeth (Conn) Atherton. She had various jobs through the years and enjoyed being a caregiver. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and seeing the spring flowers and fall colors. She also enjoyed traveling and trips to Amish country. She was an active member of the Norwalk Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She is survived by her children, Doreen Leber, Brenda Leber, Jim (Cherrie) Leber, Michael Leber, Manda (Robert) Nebergall, Jeremiah Leber, and Rachel (Bill) Bloomer; grandchildren, Kodie (Lace) Leber Cordell (Morgan) Nebergall, and Brittany Nebergall; great-grandchildren, Deakon, Waylon, Lorelai, Alaric Leber, Corbett and Kamden Nebergall; sister, Margaret (Gary) Tackett; and her brother, Marvin (Betty) Atherton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her children, Tammy Schnee and Mark Leber in infancy; and her sisters, Lucy Mead and Leota Atherton.
At Alice’s request cremation will take place and no services will be held.
Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
