John A. Gross

John A Gross, age 73 of Huron and formerly Norwalk, passed away Friday evening, January 10, 2025, at Admiral’s Point in Huron.

He was born December 15, 1951, in Norwalk to the late Charles E. and Audrey M. (Henry) Gross.  He served in the US Army from 1971 until 1973 and worked in security for many years. He lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico for many years and enjoyed fishing, hiking, skiing, riding his motorcycle and fiddling with his tools.

He is survived by his siblings, Charles (Diane) Gross, Sheryl (Allen) Parker, Steve (Alda) Gross, Kathy (Lee) Dufur, Jeff (Kim) Gross, and Julee Gross; nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.  

He was preceded in death by his parents Audrey and Charles E. “Hobble” Gross, brother, Robert Gross.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 12:00 noon until 1:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 P.M. at St. Paul Catholic Cemetery in Norwalk.
