Jenny H. Eckelberry

Jenny H Eckelberry, age 67, of Berlin Heights, went to be with the Lord Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Stein Hospice Care Center after a lengthy illness.

She was born May 10, 1957, in Manhattan, NY to the late William Agapakis and Sarah Robles. Jenny enjoyed shopping, garage sales, working with her flowers and landscaping, and cooking. She especially enjoyed spending time with family when she wasn’t ill.

She is survived by her beloved husband, James N. Eckelberry II; daughter, Monique (Josh) Dotson; sons, Rafael Mendez Jr. and James N. (Katrina) Eckelberry III; granddaughters, Makayla Dotson, Ava Dotson, Leigha Mendez, Hannah Mendez, and Madelyn Eckelberry; brother, Reinaldo Robles; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Agapakis; mother, Sarah Robles; and stepfather, Diego Robles Sr; brothers, Diego Robles Jr. and Edwin Morales; sister, Maribel Robles; grandmother, Bienvenida Rodriguez.

A celebration of Jenny’s life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
