June Marie Grosswiler

June Marie (Wise) Grosswiler, age 69, of Norwalk, and formerly Paintsville, KY, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.

She was born March 7, 1955, in Sandusky to the late Urban and Betty (Meyer) Wise, and graduated in 1974 from Monroeville High School.  She worked many years at Faulhaber’s in Monroeville, Pepperidge Farms in Willard and Olympus Corporation, now Nissha Medical Technologies in Norwalk. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and her grandchildren were the love of her life. Her hobbies included horticulture, playing cards, and crafts. 

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Novella Young of Staffordsville, KY; grandchildren, Austin Young, Madison Young, and Alyssa Young, all of Staffordsville, KY and Darren Young of Norwalk; sisters, Annie (Greg) Van Wey of Huron, Teresa (John Koch) Lakner of Norwalk; brothers, Joseph (Brenda) Wise of Monroeville, Frank (Karen) Wise of Norwalk, and Michael (Brad Faggionato) Wise of Toledo; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by both of her children, Justin Young and Matthew Young; mother, Betty (Meyer) Wise; father, Urban “Joe” Wise; and sister, Rosanne Wise.
 
At June’s request, cremation will take place and a family celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk, OH.
