Nancy Lee Holscher

Nancy Lee (Holbury) Holscher, age 81, of Milan, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2024, at her daughter’s residence in Norwalk, surrounded by her family.

She was born July 30, 1943, in Pontiac, MI to the late Robert J. and Dorothy G. (Becker) Holbury. Her father was a Brigadier General in the US Airforce where they traveled, and she then graduated from High School. She retired after 25 years in customer service at Certainteed in Milan. Nancy continued to work with her daughters at Countyline Tax Service in Milan. She was an avid reader and enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She was a pilar of strength and support for her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Skodny of Norwalk, and Jessica (Donald) Ward of Norwalk; grandchildren, Nathaniel (Chastity), Jacob, Daniel, Dominic, and Lillian; and six great-grandchildren; brothers, Rollin (Kay) Holbury of Amherst, and Robert (Pat) Holbury of Las, Vegas, NV.

She was preceded in death by her son, David Holscher; and son-in-law, Donald Skodny Jr.; and parents, late Robert J. and Dorothy G. (Becker) Holbury.

A celebration of life gathering will be held Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
