David Robert Power

David Robert Power, 79 of Norwalk, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 22nd, 2024 at Scenic Pointe Nursing Home in Millersburg. He was born February 5th,1945 in Coshocton, OH raised in Frazeysburg, OH to the late Robert and Doris (Young) Power where he graduated High School and went on to serve in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam war. He worked at the Chrysler plant/Sandusky Limited in Sandusky for more than 30 years as an Industrial Electrician. He loved watching sports (Baseball, football and basketball) as well as playing/coaching softball with his son. He was also a big fan of SCI-FI shows. 

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sandra (Reilly) Power of Norwalk; children, Shawn (Brook Wigner) Power of Norwalk, Doreen (Jason) Shutt of Norwalk and Daniel (Donna) Power of Norwalk.  Sister Nettie (Jeff) Predieri of Lakeland, FL; Grandchildren – Joshua Taylor, Cassandra Aumend, Jordan Leib, David Power II, Taylor Wigner, Cailin Auerhamer, Nicholas Shutt, Gavin Shutt, Jaxsin Power, Danielle Power and Jacob Power as well as 17 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert (Shirley) Power and Doris Power, his brother, Michael Power.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery (200 Woodlawn Ave, Norwalk) on Friday November 1st at 9:45am.
