Juanita K. Hall

Juanita Kidd Cook Hall, age 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Welcome Nursing Home in Oberlin, Ohio after a long illness. She was born June 14, 1942 in Dana, KY to the late Allen and Cindy Kidd. She was the devoted mother of one son, David Cook of Norwalk, Ohio, one grandson Michael Cook (Tara) of Cleveland, Ohio, and one great-grandson, Jacob. 

She is also survived by her brother Willard Kidd of Banner, KY, and three sisters Minnie Jarrell (Leo) of Banner, KY; Alice Lawson (Gary) of Dana, KY and Lora Akers (Clayton) of Dana, KY, as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bill Hall, three brothers William Green Kidd, Cecil Kidd, and Eugene Kidd and four sisters Magaline Kidd, Nannie Mae Hampton, Shirley Branham, and Aline Crum, as well as other close family members. 

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, September 29th, 2024 at 11:00 am in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin KY, with burial to follow in the Kidd Cemetery, Spurlock Fork, Dana, KY. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and all day Saturday at Hall Funeral Home.

Juanita was a generous woman who loved shopping, gardening, and keeping a beautiful home. She loved cats and cared for many in her lifetime. She loved her family deeply and was always there for someone in need. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
