So sorry to hear of Dick's passing. I remember my dad and him having a good ole time at the Michelson family reunions that were held pretty regularly from the late 1970's to the 1990's. He was a fun loving, hard working guy and the life of the party. Sending condolences on your loss.

I met Dick a few years ago while working at The Commons Of Providence. I was his housekeeper and laundry lady--his "maid" :). The very first day I met him he was in the hallway, just cussing up a storm...I was thinking, "oh boy..." I asked him if he was having a bad day. He asked who the heck am I? I told him his new maid. He barely cracked a smile but I could see it. We were buds ever since. I enjoyed our talks about the service (I'm retired Air Force), the great beer in Germany, his life story of being a farmer. And he taught me how to microwave corn on the cob--who knew? :) I went to visit a few weeks ago and he didn't remember me right away but after chatting a bit, I think he did. I said something and he smiled so, yeah...My condolences to Elaine, his children and grands and all others who he's crossed paths with. You'll be missed, Dick. Thanks for the laughs over the years. Rest now.

I am so sorry for your family’s loss. When I first came to Champion in 2005 Dick taught me the ropes and how to rate wheels. That was the best job in the building. Please accept my condolences and I will be praying for all of you.
