Tamela “Tammy” (Evans) Penfield, age 58, of Sandusky, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky.
She was born October 19, 1965, in Bellevue to the late Wendell and Lois (Smith) Evans. She enjoyed spending time with her daughters and grandchildren, refinishing furniture, and interior decorating. Tammy’s interior decorating skills were also acknowledged and photographed in a magazine over the years. She attended Victory Baptist Church in Norwalk.
She is survived by her daughters, Haley (Lamarious) Evans of Sandusky, Brittany (Scotty) Penfield of Sandusky, Courtney (Romel) Penfield of Sandusky, and Kelsey Penfield of Sandusky; grandchildren, Kobee, Braylon, Grace, Kaylynn, Tashiya, Nori, Sky’Ana, Brielle, Brayleigh, Oaklynn, Landyn, Coltyn, and Rylee; great-grandchild, Zyaire; her siblings, Vicky (Terry) Lyons of FL, Timothy (Julie) Evans of Castalia, and Thomas “Randy” (Angie) Evans of Attica; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Wendell Evans Jr. and Terry R. Evans.
Friends may call on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 12:30 P.M. until time of service at 1:30 P.M. at Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk with Pastor Larry Lambes officiating. Private interment will be held later at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
