Carol A. Buckhannon

Carol Ann Buckhannon, age 80, of Norwalk, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
She was born June 8, 1944, in Amherst, OH to the late Alfred A. and Elsie (Force) Kreeger. She was the former owner of Carol’s Lounge for over 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and traveling in her younger years. For many years she provided day care for the Huron County Children Services and was a member of Norwalk Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Larry (Sarah) Buckhannon of Collins and Ray Buckhannon of Norwalk; and her grandchildren; a brother, Walter Kreeger.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 21 years, Ray B. Buckhannon in 1984; a daughter, Gina Staley; and siblings, Allen Kreeger, Robert Kreeger, and Nancy Brock.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 5, 2024, from 12:00 noon until 1:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A graveside service follow at 1:30 P.M. at Woodlawn Cemetery, 200 Woodlawn Avenue, Norwalk, OH.
