Richard E. Lambert

Richard Emile Lambert, age 86, of Norwalk, OH and Poinsettia Park in Fort Myers, FL, passed away on April 13, 2024. He was born on May 13, 1937, in Cleveland, OH to the late Emile and Marie Lambert.

He was a 1955 graduate of St. Ignatius High School. Dick worked in many capacities for Greyhound bus lines during his 45 years there. Following his retirement, he purchased and owned a successful Ben Franklin store in Jefferson, Iowa.

He was a member of the Catholic church and enjoyed fishing, camping, and traveling. Dick and Marge loved to travel and visited 44 different countries during their retirement. They also cherished spending winters in both Mexico and Fort Myers, FL.

Dick is survived by his loving wife, Marjorie Ann (Conrad) Lambert, his children John (Heidi) Lambert, Michael Lambert, Sharon (Tom) Thacker, grandchildren Arthur Lambert, Elizabeth Lambert, Hallie Davis, Abby Howell, Cody Thacker, and Zach Thacker, four great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, his brothers Emile (Felicitas) Lambert, and Don (Frances) Lambert. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emile and Marie (Foley) Lambert, and sisters Rita Lambert Schmidt, and Mary Lou Lambert.

Family and friends are invited to a funeral Mass Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 10:30 A.M.at St. Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Church, 38 W. League Street, Norwalk, OH.
