James "Jim" D Brant Sr, age 68, of Norwalk, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024, at his residence.
He was born July 30, 1955 in Sandusky to the late Douglas Sr. and Delores (Frantz) Brant.
James leaves behind his wife of 26 years, Sharon “Kay” Brant; sons, James Brant Jr., Jamie Brant and Jonathon (Amber) Brant; daughters, Michelle (John) Jenkins, Christine (Jeramy) Gilbert, Amy (Kurt) Warnick, Deborah France and Susan Sokolowski; brothers, Larry (Denise), Alvin (Kathy), Robert (Cathy), Daniel “Jake”, Steven “Toby”, Walter Brant, Kenneth Ekleberry; sisters, Linda Sanders, Ruby (Glenn) Blackwell, April Brant, and Laura Brant; 27 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, step-mother, Susan Brant; brother, Douglas Brant Jr.; grandson, David France Jr.; and great-grandson, Bentley.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, May 2, 2024, from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at 1:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Berlin Heights.
