Cynthia "Cyndi" Lea Gfell

Cynthia “Cyndi” Lea Gfell, age 53, of Norwalk, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Stein Hospice Care Center.
She was born October 28, 1970, in Norwalk to the late Lawrence Gfell and Ann Ryan. She enjoyed spending time with her family, working at Huron-Erie-Richland County CAC preschool, watching the Cincinnati Bengals, judging rabbits at the Huron County Fair, and appreciative of cats and playing the Cello.
She is survived by her son, Tyson Pryor; siblings, Erin (John) Lendrum, Jill (David) Roberts, Lynn (Ken) Espvik, Gretchen Gfell, Steve (Nancy) Gfell; and her stepmother Nancy Gfell; nieces, Sara, Hannah, Emily, Meredith, Paige and Abigail; nephews, Alex, Hakon, and Thomas; great-nieces and nephews, Ellyanna, Cooper, Vivian, Georgia, Thomas, Cameron, and Calab.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers-in-law, David Roberts and Mike Holdren.
Visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Monday, April 15, 2024, at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Settlement Road, Norwalk with Fr. Chris Jesudhason officiating. Burial will follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
