Joseph M. Briehl

Joseph M Briehl, age 53, of Norwalk, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024.

He was born March 30, 1970, in Norwalk and was a 1988 graduate of St. Paul High School and attended EHOVE Career Center. He served in the US Army during Desert Storm in the airborne division, where he received a National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal with Bronze Service Star, along with a marksman and parachute badge.  He worked at Brooker Brothers in Norwalk and was a lifetime member of the Norwalk VFW Post 2743, and the NRA.  He enjoyed the outdoors, shooting, and taking care of his yard.

He is survived by his mother, Dianne Briehl of Norwalk; sisters, Patricia (Jason) Roush of Spring Lake, NC and Justine Brown of Huron; and his brother, Mark A. Briehl; nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph F. Briehl.

A service will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 8, 2024, at the Chapel at Meadow Green Memorial Park in Huron, with military honors.

Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk, OH.
