Bobby J Osborn, age 86, of Norwalk, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024, at his residence, surrounded by his family.
He was born May 12, 1937, in Kentucky to the late J.P. Osborn and Mardel (Starkey) Osborn. He was a graduate of North Fairfield High School and worked at the Norwalk Foundry. He then retired after many years as a laborer with CertainTeed in Milan. He enjoyed baseball and was an avid Cleveland sports fan. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Huberta (Mantz) Osborn; children, Robert Joe (Tami) Osborn and their children, Alyssa, Aaron, Tim and Matt Phillips, Carl (Brenda) Osborn and their children, Robert, Brittney, and Tiffany, Tammy (Gary) Braden and their children, Cory, Brooke and Taylor, Tom (Monica) Osborn and their children, Brennan, Alex, and Kaylee; 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Roger, Virgil, Melvin, Janice, and Anna; a granddaughter, Robyn Lynn Osborn.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
