John "Pork" William Stewart

John “Pork” William Stewart, age 54, of Norwalk, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024 after a lengthy illness at Cleveland Metro Hospital.

He was born March 11, 1969, in Norwalk to the late Harry Sr. and Helen (Young) Stewart.  He attended Edison High School and Maple City Church of God.  He enjoyed spending time with his children, working in the shop and following Austin’s golf and other activities. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, outdoors and especially spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children, Austin Stewart of Norwalk and Kylee Stewart of Norwalk; siblings, Mary Ann (Ora) Williams of Marshalltown, IA, Brenda (Kenny) Conley of Norwalk, Ardella (Roger) Smith of Norwalk, Angie (Joe) Woodyard of Norwalk, Michael Stewart of Nichols, GA and James (Jennifer) Stewart of Huron, Terry Stewart and Gene Stewart, both of Uniontown, PA; brother-in-law, Buck Milovanovich; aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Helen J. Stewart; brothers, Perry Stewart and Harry Stewart Jr.; sisters, Debra Viock and Pam Milovanovich; nephew, Matthew Stewart; aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, February 19, 2024, from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. with brothers-in-law Kenny Conley and Joe Woodyard officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
