Beverly J Carstensen, age 90, of Findlay, formerly of Norwalk, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay.
She was born December 24, 1933, in Norwalk to the late Harold and Beatrice (Lamm) Collier.
She is survived by her children, Craig (Bernadette) Hakes of Broken Arrow, OK, and Judi Storer of Findlay, OH; stepchildren, Thomas (Diantha) Carstensen of Oceanside, CA, Erik (Amy) Carstensen of San Diego, CA, Mark (Jennifer) Carstensen of Henderson, NV and Lynn (John) Hoose of Encino, CA; sisters in law, Alice Collier of Beaverton, OR, Jackie Collier of Santa Barbara, CA, 2 nieces, 2 nephews, 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, James, daughter, Susan, sister, Marilyn Collier, brothers, Charles and Jack Collier, son-in-law, Tim Storer, grandsons, Lee Storer and Damien Carstensen, nephew, Michael Collier and her husband, James (Jack) Carstensen.
A memorial service followed by a luncheon for family and friends will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at First Presbyterian Church, 21 Firelands Blvd, Norwalk with Pastor James Hodsen officiating. Interment will follow the luncheon at Hester Cemetery.
