Vivian L. Knight

Vivian L Knight, of Norwalk, passed away Monday, January 8, 2024, at Gaymont Care and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born October 4, 1944, in Deridder, Louisiana to the late Robert C. Welch and Laura D. (O’dell) (Welch) Phillips. Vivian enjoyed cooking and especially eating. She truly loved being with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Laura and the late Dwayne Jenkins of Norwalk; son, Michael (Connie) Gregory of Norwalk; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Anita Meade of Clarksfield and Cay (Chris) Green of Middleburg Heights, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Charles Phillips, who along with her mother Laura, raised Vivian most of her life; infant son, Robert Gregory; sisters, Carol Groff and Linda Leber; and brothers, Robert Welch and Charles Phillips.
A graveside service will be held Friday, January 19, 2024, 1:00 P.M., at Collins Cemetery. Arrangements by the Evans Funeral Home in Norwalk.
