Harold P. Zimmerman

Harold Paul Zimmerman, age 90, of Norwalk, passed away, Friday, December 1, 2023, at Twilight Gardens Nursing Home.
He was born November 21, 1933, in Monroeville to the late Martin and Clara (Burgel) Zimmerman. He served in the US Army from 1955 until 1957, then served in the Army Reserve until 1963. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and enjoyed talking to his friends and family. He was an avid volunteer and enjoyed watching St. Paul students and their activities.
He is survived by his brother, Richard (DeEtte) Zimmerman of Norwalk; and friends Al (Sue) Lesch; and numerous nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Edwin, Donald, Herman, Raymond, Alfred, Bernard “Bernie”, Mildred Miller, Pauline Smith, and Mary Zimmerman.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2023, from 2:30 P.M. until time of service at 3:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk with Father Frank Kehres officiating. Private burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Monroeville.
