Laura Benedict

Laura Benedict, nee Arnold, age 72, of Norwalk, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Stein Hospice Care Center.
She was born June 7, 1951, in Norwalk to the late Esmeralda (Mathers) and Ira Arnold. She was a graduate of Norwalk High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family, was an avid reader and enjoyed word puzzles. She was highly intelligent, a great cook and especially enjoyed the holidays.
Laura is survived by her children, Katie (Rick) Stevenson, Tag (Rose) Cavello, Tanna Cavello, Todd Cavello and Stacey Cavello, her grandchildren Owen, Adrian, Kacy, Eslen, Jonah, Portia, Nemo and Nora, brother Ron Arnold, sister Mary Giordana, special partner Harold Simon and her fur baby, Tobey.
Laura was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Robert and Roger, and son Anthony.
There will be a private celebration of life gathering at a later date.
Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
