Mearl Fred Bostic

Mearl Fred Bostic, age 79, of Wakeman, passed away Monday evening, October 2, 2023, at his residence after a lengthy illness.
He was born June 30, 1944, in Canvas, West Virginia to the late Earl and Nellie (Crites) Bostic. He worked at Angie’s Body Shop in Norwalk and Mark’s Excavating detailing trucks and tractors for many years. He was a member of the Norwalk Eagles Aerie 711 and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was an active member of the New Covenant Lighthouse Ministries and enjoyed attending garage sales, Goodwill, and flea markets.
He is survived by his two boys and three girls, Pamela Zamano, Judy (Troy) Meyer, Jeff (Jennie) Bostic and Kathrien Bostic; his loving common law wife, Vinadean Griffith; siblings, Howard Bostic and Mary Groves; grandchildren, Jose, Sophia, JR, Shain, Clint, Jennifer, Jessica, Joanna, Clayton, Darius, Victoria, and Hayden; and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Carl Bostic, Kermit Bostic, and Loretta Lewis.
A small service will be held in West Virginia at a later date.
Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
