Ronald D. Ebinger

Ronald D Ebinger, age 86, of Milan, passed away Friday, August 18, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born April 4, 1937, in Willard, OH and was a 1955 graduate of Norwalk High School. He proudly served in the US Army from 1955 until 1957.  He worked for over 42 years and retired as a press operator at Tenneco.  He was an avid golfer and enjoyed bowling, photography and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed following the Cleveland Indians baseball and Browns football teams and solving Mensa puzzles. He put his family first and was a wonderful caretaker to all who knew him. He especially enjoyed his dog and sidekick, Skoshi.

He is survived by his children, Bart, Beverlee and Beth (Larry) Ebinger; grandchildren, Ashlee, Aimee, Elizabeth, Mathew, Amanda, Tyler, Anthony, Amber, Taylor, and Aleesha; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Gloria “Glo” Jean (Williams) Ebinger in 2017; parents Walter Sr. and Roberta (Stevens) Ebinger; siblings, Walter “Bud” and Paul Ebinger, Betty Fulton and Marvin in infancy; his granddaughter, Allison in infancy.

Friends may call on Thursday, August 24, 2023, from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.  A funeral service will be held Friday, August 25, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home with James Robinson officiating.  Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Willard.
