Frederick G. Leber Sr.

Frederick G Leber Sr, age 80, of Norwalk, passed away Monday, August 7, 2023, at his residence.
He was born February 25, 1943, in Norwalk to the late Edgar and Rhea (Weilnau) Leber. He attended Milan Schools and served in the US Army from 1966 until 1967. He owned a meat market for several years, was a mechanic and loved working on cars. He enjoyed working with his hands, carpentry, fixing things and spending time with his grandchildren playing cards. He also enjoyed his many dogs, but left behind his favorite, Kallie.
He is survived by his children, James (Julie) Horvath of Bellevue, Nickolas Horvath of Norwalk, Ann Costello of Milan, Wayne (Amanda) Horvath of Milan, Amy (Scott) Gluth of Oak Harbor and Frederick (Ashley) Leber of Norwalk; grandchildren, Christine, Brittany, Baily, Natalie, Derek, Carter, Kohen, Dakota, Emmie, Kamden, Mason, Taylor, Quinn and Ellie; great-grandchildren, Adriyanna, Kennedy, Jersey, Zoey and Lux; siblings, Delbert, James, Raymond, and Howard.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Dorothy A. Leber in 2021; brothers, Glenn Leber, Walter Leber, Milton Leber and Alden Leber; sisters, Joanne Moyer and Marjorie Ott.
Friends may call on Friday, August 11, 2023, from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Private inurnment will be held at a later date in Milan Cemetery.
