Maria C (Loyer) Hackathorn, age 61, of Collins, passed away Friday, June 30, 2023, at her residence.
She was born July 22, 1961, in Norwalk to the late Bernard Sr. and Carmella Loyer. She graduated from Western Reserve High School and raised her children. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, gadoonie hunting, cooking, swimming and riding her 4-wheeler and the outdoors.
She is survived by her sons, Johnny (Sabrena) Hackathorn of Sandusky and Dustin (Heather) Hackathorn of Collins; grandchildren, Psyan, Sapphire, SirRulean, Poseidon, Caspian, Madison, Jacob, and Olivia; great-grandchildren, Osiris and Ellianna; her siblings, Renee Whitney of Collins and Mike Loyer of Norwalk; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Tom Loyer, Steve Loyer, Dan Loyer, and Bernie Loyer Jr.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, July 6, 2023, from 4:00 P.M. until time of service at 6:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
