Joseph M. Shupe

Joseph M Shupe, age 58, of Greenwich, passed away Monday, February 6, 2023, as a dinosaur at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.

He was born October 12, 1964, in Norwalk to the late Milton and Carrie (Lease) Shupe.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and grandkids and playing cards.  He likes motorcycles, Eagles, Clash, Cheezits buddy, working on cars, and loved his four-legged fur babies.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Laurie (Morehart) Shupe; children, Kira (David) Taylor of Sandusky and Ryan (Kelly) Morehart of Monroeville; grandchildren, Aubrianna, David Jr., Kelly Jo, and Skye; siblings, Louise (Allen) Hale of New London and Ron (Pam) Day of Collins; best friends, Jim (Kim) Reising; sisters-in-law, Brenda Gessner, Tina Morehart, and Peggy Peer; and brother-in-law, Carl Morehart II; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Richard Day, Beverly Goodman, and Doris Day.

A celebration of life gathering will be held Sunday, February 12, 2023 from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Private interment will be held at a later date.
