Janet S. Castle

Janet Sue Castle, age 69, of Norwalk, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022, at her daughter’s residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born June 11, 1953, in Harold, KY to the late Charlie and Oleta (Hall) Case. She attended Betsy Lane High School and then moved to the Norwalk area.

She is survived by her daughter, Denise (Larry) Brant; grandchildren, Scott (Heaven) Absher of MI, Andrea (Chris) Acierto of Milan; great-grandchildren; Lexie, Nathan and Johnathan Absher of Wakeman and Bryleigh Absher, Madison and Taylor Acierto of Milan; siblings, Ron Blakenship of Norwalk, Joseph Case of Milan, Mary Lou Kessler of Norwalk, Marlene Boldman of Norwalk and Kay Brant of Norwalk; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Earl Castle in 2020; daughter, Rebecca “Beckie” Castle in 2022; and brother, Charles Case in 2010.

Friends may call on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home with Pastor Ron Sallee officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
