Ronald Dee

Ronald Dee, age 87, of Norwalk, passed away Monday, October 17, 2022.

He was born February 28, 1935, in Sandusky to the late August and Gertrude (Denslow) Dee. He was a graduate of Sandusky High School and attended Kent State University. He served in the U.S. Army for two years at Fort Knox. He was an insurance agent with Western and Southern Life Insurance and Allstate Insurance before starting his own agency, Insurance Services of Norwalk until present. He enjoyed spending time with family & friends, and entertaining himself with many hobbies including flying airplanes, boating, sportscars, backpacking, shooting and taking care of his yard that he went to great pains to achieve perfection.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Barbara (Morehouse) Dee of Norwalk; daughter, Kari (Rusty) Breitbach of Norwalk; grandchildren, Zac Breitbach of Cleveland and Emily Breitbach of Columbus; sisters-in-law, Janet Morehouse of Norwalk and Linda Stecovich of Suwanee, GA; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter in infancy; and his brother, James (Mary Ann) Dee; a niece, Becky Grine, brother-in-laws, Ronald Morehouse and Robert Stecovich.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2022 from 2-5 pm at Eagle Creek Club House, 2406 New State Road, Norwalk. Private interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial contributions if desired, may be sent to the American Red Cross, 404 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870 or the Huron County Humane Society, 246 Woodlawn Avenue, Norwalk, OH 44857.
