John T. "Tommy" Roth Sr.

John T “Tommy” Roth Sr, age 77, of Norwalk, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
He was born August 12, 1945, in Norwalk to the late Irving M. and Thelma L. (Fadley) Roth. He was a 1964 graduate of Norwalk High School and was a life member of the Norwalk Eagles Aerie 711. He retired after 38 years with Ford Motor Co. and then enjoyed his passion of antiquing and roadshows. He enjoyed selling antiques at the former Milan Quarters and furniture striping. He was an avid OSU Buckeyes fan and enjoyed listening to the radio or watching the Cleveland Indians and Ohio sports teams. He attended auctions and flea markets.
He is survived by his children, John T. Roth Jr. of Norwalk, Dave (Judi) Roth of Collierville, TN and Matthew B. (Heather M.) Roth of Norwalk; grandsons, Nicholas John Roth, Benjamin Roth and Samuel Roth; granddaughters, Layna D. (Michael) Pylant of Norwalk, Sydnee Roth of Bellevue and Claira Roth of Norwalk; and a great-granddaughter, Olive Pylant.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Steven A. Roth.
A celebration of life gathering will be held Sunday, October 9, 2022, from 3:00 – 5:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Private interment will be held later at Woodlawn Cemetery.
