Florence Beck

Florence E (McEowen) Beck, age 86, of Midlothian, Texas and formerly Collins, Ohio, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born February 1, 1936, in Sandusky, OH to the late George and Edna (Luebcke) McEowen. She received a bachelor’s degree and taught over 20 years at Berlin Heights Elementary School. She was a member of Collins United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald “Jerry” F. Beck; brother, Donald McEowen of Sandusky, OH; son, Shawn Beck, daughter-in-law, Tammy Toledano Beck; grandchildren, Triston Beck of Midlothian, TX, Jaden Beck Daniel of Bellevue, OH and Miles Thomas of Dallas, TX; and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, George (Georgie) McEowen and sister, Lois Olds (McEowen) of Sandusky, OH, and Bobby McEowen of Iowa.
Friends may call on Friday, October 7, 2022, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk, OH, and Saturday, October 8, 2022, from 10 A.M. until time of service at 11 A.M. at the Collins United Methodist Church, 4290 Hartland Center Road, Collins, OH with Pastor Carl Fannin officiating. Burial will follow at Collins Cemetery.
