Linda Brown McGuire
September 09, 2022
Linda Rae (Hill) Brown McGuire drew her first breath in Norwalk, Ohio on January 21, 1943, and her last in Monroeville, Ohio on September 9, 2022.
In those 79 years that she was on this earth she tried to make the most of every breath she took. She loved her family and was continually selfless in all her thoughts and actions. Linda was the youngest child of Frank and Leona (Woods) Hill (both preceded her in death). She grew up with her only sister, Naomi Lee of Willard. Through the love of horses at the Norwalk Fairgrounds she met the love of her life while being a member of the Norwalk Riding Club. She was an active 4-H supporter her entire life.
She married Tom Brown (1965-1992) and started a family. She raised two children, Cheryl Brown of New London and Bob Brown (Kathy) of North Fairfield. She worked many jobs throughout the years including bus driver for Western Reserve schools, Huron County Humane Officer, Thermostat factory, a beautician at various establishments and owner of the Village Clip and Curl in Greenwich. She was a hopeless romantic and an avid storyteller and would love family and friends to share her memories and stories. Her light will forever shine in her family that loved her unconditionally.
Her family is having a burial and memorial celebration of life on Thursday, September 15th at noon at the North Fairfield cemetery with luncheon celebration to follow across the street at the American Legion.
Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
