Tammy Dewiel

Tammy (Henry) Dewiel, age 62, of New London, passed away, Sunday, August 21, 2022, at Gaymont Nursing Center.

She was born September 18, 1959, in Gallipolis, OH to the late Robert and Jessie Joann (Lane) Henry. She was a painter and had a passion for music and concerts. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed fishing, spending time with her grandchildren and was known as a jokester. She was an animal lover, especially enjoyed her cat “boy”.

She is survived by her children, Angela Schiffer of Mansfield, Art (Brittany) Dewiel of Norwalk, Rodney Dewiel of New London and Kimberly Dewiel of Clarksfield; grandchildren, Hailey, Caitlynn, Brenndon, Brooklyn, Tessa, Lexi, Max, Jaxsin and Travis; her siblings, Kathy (Dave) Illig of TX, Kay (Fred) Leimeister of Collins, and Robert “Will” Henry of Norwalk; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Michael (LaDonna) Henry.

A celebration of life gathering will be held Monday, August 29, 2022, from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Private interment will be held at a later date at Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.

tammaw you was one of a kind but you taught me a few things in 20+ years i have know you.the first was toulouse because i talrite u being on my couch for 20 year and patients because u could push buttons andi had to pick u up more times then i could tell.but all joking a side no matter what u was there for me and u had the biggest heart that u tried to hide .i was one of the lucky ones that knew you had one love ya and sure going to miss the crazy lady
