Terri L. Leed

Terri Lee Leed, age 73, of Huron and formerly Lancaster, PA, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Gaymont Nursing Center.

She was born June 5, 1949, in Sandusky, OH to the late Kenneth E. and Catherine V. (Chambers) Schaefer. She was a 1967 graduate of Huron High School and raised her family and provided daycare in her home in Lancaster, PA. She worked many years at Lowes and moved to Ohio in 2010, where she continued at Lowes in Sandusky. She enjoyed spending time with her family and attended St. Anthony Catholic Church in Lancaster, PA, and St. Mary Catholic Church in Norwalk, OH. She enjoyed gardening, reading, listening to music, and learning about the history of Ireland.

She is survived by her children, Douglas (Kim) Leed of Marietta, PA, James Leed of Lancaster, PA, and Nicholas (Sarah) Leed of Elkton, MD; siblings, Patricia A. Schaefer of Huron, OH and Kenneth (Beth) Schaefer Jr. of Lorain, OH.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
