Margaret A. Kiser

June 12, 2022

Margaret Ann Kiser, age 76, of Norwalk, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.

She was born April 26, 1946, in Sandusky, Ohio to the late Herbert and Dorthea (Fry) Krapp. She was a 1964 graduate of Norwalk High School and worked for many years in the Norwalk area, eventually retiring from Frontier in 2015. She was an avid gardener in “her spare time” and enjoyed tending to not only her own beds and plants but anyone who needed “help” in theirs. Her generosity in both her time and resources spilled over onto her friends and family, but none more so than her “boys”.

She was always there to cheer and support both her sons and grandsons, in games and concerts and events, and was the unofficial record keeper of all their life’s important moments. She was an active member of the Crossroads Community Church in Norwalk and took great pride in contributing to the Norwalk Police Department K9 unit and the local Humane Society.

She is survived by her son, Keith (Beth) Kiser of Amherst; grandchildren, Korbin Kiser, serving in the US Air Force, Fletcher Kiser of Amherst, and Kaiden Kiser, her lifelong friend and confidant Judy Lawrence of Chagrin Falls, and numerous friends and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Kevin James Kiser in 2017 and her brother, James Jarrett in 2019.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Crossroads Community Church, 414 Gibbs Road, Norwalk, Ohio.
Private interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Monroeville. Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
