Barbara Noftz

Barbara Ann Noftz, age 85, of Norwalk, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022, at Norwalk Memorial Home.

She was born June 25, 1936, in Milan, OH to the late Robert and Esther E. (Leidheiser) McLane. She worked at the family’s restaurant, Korner Kupboard and also worked at the Dairy Bar Restaurant in Milan. She retired after 30 years of sewing at Norwalk Furniture. She was a member of the Milan Presbyterian Church and enjoyed crossword puzzles, country music and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Sharon (John) Merrilees of Norwalk, Cynthia (David) Eaton of Norwalk and Jamie Schaffer of Florida; sister, Mary (Richard) Stutsman of Norwalk; grandchildren, Crystal Norris, Jeremy Schaffer, Nathan Meagrow, Nicole Beese and Andrew Clay; 16 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, great-grandson, Garret; sister, Joanne O’Donell; and brothers, Robert McLane Jr. and S. Michael McLane.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 24, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at Milan Cemetery with Pastor Don Loving officiating. Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
